Ready for a funky 2 piece suit? This late 1970s skirt suit has almost a 1940s vibe with an asymmetrical jacket that has a big button closure and snap at the waist, 3/4 length sleeves with small puff sleeves and button cuffs, and a gathered waist pencil skirt with a nylon center zipper and button at the back. Jacket is checkered in black, white, gray, and tan. Skirt matches the gray. It is in excellent condition, minor armpit yellowing. Labeled "Perceptions, machine washable, Made in the USA, 16", union label, fabric is wool tweed, unlined. The bust of the jacket measures 44 inches, the skirt waist 31 inches and the hips 44 inches. Skirt too snug to button. Shown on a dress form measuring Bust 42", Waist 32", Hips 43 1/2". Length of jacket 24 inches, length of skirt 25 1/2 inches. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that was cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
